Ending of a fairy tale wedding #kimkardashian

I want to preface this post with the following...  I love the Kardashian/Jenner family.  I love watching all of their shows.  Every time they are on a talk show, I have to watch it.  I also love reading any news articles about them.

After 72 days of marriage, Kim filed for divorce.  While I was sad to read the news, I wasn't too surprised.  Why, you ask?  From the beginning, I watched Kim and Kris while they were dating and preparing for their wedding.  They couldn't even make decisions together.  They weren't willing to compromise.  They didn't seem to listen to each other and neither of them heard what the other had to say.

On Kourtney & Kim Take New York, I watched Kim's marriage crumble.  I couldn't understand why she wasn't anxious to get home to her husband when she was in Dubai for work.  You can watch the clip here.  Any newlywed can't stand stand being away from their new spouse.

After Kim and Kourtney had their reading  with medium John Edward, I saw what Kim's dad was trying to communicate to her (through John Edward).  Her father was letting her know that he understands what she is feeling about her marriage and hopes she has learned from it.  He's validating what she is already feeling about the marriage.

I found it sad that Kim and Kris spent so little time together after their fairy tale wedding.  Neither was willing to take a break from work to make time for each other.  Marriage takes work.

Kim talked about putting a deadline on being married and having kids.  I think she felt too much pressure to meet that deadline and she rushed into something she wasn't fully prepared for.

  3. I follow the Kardashians too! I watched their past season. I am also not surprised they did not work out. Everything seemed way to rushed!

  7. I don't know anything about this, but my guess it was for hype for the tv show. Who knows really but them. Very sad about their marriage.

  9. Ive been a huge fan since the first ever season of Keeping Up With The Kardashian's. It's very sad that their marriage ended. I mean the first two years of marriage is the hardest and I think they couldv'e worked through it together. I hope they stay friends at least and Kim doesn't take on the whole blame on her own. Very sad though that she fell in love with a fairytale and had an unhappily ever after.

  10. I have to admit that I have never watched this show, but I am all about romantic weddings. The Teen Diva, on the other hand, is well versed :)
