Redemption Day Review

Redemption Day
By Steve O’Brien

About the book:

The protagonist is Nick James, a terrorism analyst who loses his job as a result of the cutback in spending on domestic terror programs. He is one of the government’s experts on the Posse Comitatus, but he is soon framed for the killing of a West Virginia sheriff and put on the run. The Government wants him arrested; the Posse Comitatus wants him dead.

Nick has to clear his name and unravel the Posse plot before April 19 arrives.

My Review:

Redemption Day can be described in three words: suspenseful, thrilling and mysterious!  Nick is easy to relate to in the fact that he was fired from his job.  Not only was the way they did it cold and heartless, but it was just uncaring.  With the state of our economy, so many Americans have lost their jobs, so we can surely feel for Nick at that point.

Nick is forced into a rock and a hard place and must work to survive.  He is being targeted by two different sides.  His adventure towards finding the truth is met with twists and turns through finding the right people to turn to.

Redemption Day was a page turner that will keep you glued to the pages.  There were different storylines happening at once which made this book even more ‘edge of your seat’ reading.
